Didn't know this until it was by off-chance in the news today. The wife of an old chancellor of Germany, Helmut Schmidt, is actually called Loki Schmidt. Even has an autobiography out with the title 'Loki'.

What better way is there to learn how to drive in England [on the wrong side of the road] than going through London North and eventually to Heathrow and back again?

...it does. All at once. In this order; today I have:

- Blown up the PSU of my campus computer, killing my computer
- Blown up the fuse of the entire desk row, killing all my lab neighbours computers
- The hard disk of my server blew up as I tried to get the data I needed
